This. Origin was founded by people from Dell's Alienware division. So you're getting the same quality with out the ridiculous mark ups that come with the Alienware name

1000w psu, are you overclocking an alien mothership or something? You'd be kitted with a 750 and still have power to go atleast dual gpu and like 15 fans...

The gtx cards outpreform the quadro by a ton, even for video/photo editing, and they're much less expensive. http://ppbm5.com/MPE%20Charts.php GTX
Also, AMD gpus are better than nvidia's for gaming (besides SLI), a 7950 or 7970 outpreform a 680 for cheaper in 9 out of 10 games. Unless you need CUDA or physx amd gpus are better. 6 core for gaming is also totally overkill haha. Quad 3570k would be just as good in most games (except maybe crysis 3, which takes advantage of 6 cores)
but r/buildapc, ocn, tomshardware, anandtech, teksyndicate, etc would probably be better places to look

The best part about building your own pc the best part it that you can make it to exactly the specifications you want and need. I use my pc for gaming and so when I built it I invested more money into the gpu and cooling system than the average build. You never specified what you're using your computer for so there's not much I can recommend. Granted, $2000 can buy an incredibly powerful pc if you build it yourself, or a half decent mac.
