Burton Ronin 3L pant

Okay these pants are just rediculusly sick. I just got a pair and they are the burliest pants ever. Imagine 3 Layer laminated waterproof canvas. For all you people doing urban stuff check these pants out. Seriously they wouldn't tear if you fell on cheese gratter stairs, they are that tough. Also they have sick style and big huge vents to keep you cool. Oh yeah and a fleece butt whcih rules cause my ass is always cold.

Yeah unless you are giong to be skiing underwater they are a little unnecessary though. You can save alot of money and buy the 2l pants which are just as nice.

Well fucker I got them prodeal so I only paid 95 for them. And fuck that scuba shit. Ever been to the Northwest? Didn't think so. It rains a few times a season and most of time when it's snowing it huvering right around freezeing. Anything less that 20,000mm and you'll either be soaked or sitting in the lodge. Goddamn Colorado kids don't know shit. It's always cold when it snows down there cause the mountains are twice as tall.

^Prodeal for them was like 175, so now we know youre lieing about everything else. Oh yeah also sorry we get the light fluffy stuff here in utah, must be fun to ski in rain.

I ski the northwest all season long, and I don't think you really need that kind of tech... My stuff is all 30,000mm+, but anything over 10k will do for most days up here. I think the 2L pants are really all anybody needs. But hey, they still kick ass... I still want to know the breathability, though. Doesn't matter how waterproof they are if you're sweating your ass off all day wearing them and they don't breathe.

God damn dspin your seriously need to find something better to do. Obviously you don't have access to the Burton pro site then you stupid fuck. The pants are 250 retail and Burton does pro deals at like 30 % off of whole sale. Since your such a bright fuck do the math. Whole sale is 40% off of retail. I got the pants for $100. I'm checking right now for the jacket I just bought. Man I love pro deals.

okay, i ain't here to talk crap, but i'm tired of people being ignorant. first off, i'm on the burton proform site right now, and the ronin 3L pants proform price is $100. Secondly, if you knew about the pants, you would know that they are made of Gore-tex XCR which is not only more water-proof than regular Gore-tex, but more breathable. Please get your facts straight before you try to punk someone.

Er... I didn't say they weren't breathable, I asked what the breathability rating was. Not 'more breathable than regular gore tex', I'd like to know the stat, if you know it. Secondly, it'd be nice if you could differentiate between me and dspin. We're really not the same person. See how we have different user names, and everything?

Sactown I was talking about the Ronin 3L pant not the AK 3L pant. The Ronin pants are Burton's Storm-lite 5.0 laminate which is 20,000mm waterproofing. And the pants are 8,000g breathablity, sorry it took me so long to answer that. The AK 3L pant it Gore-tex XCR which is 30,000mm waterproofing and the most breathable laminate on the planet. I could go on fo pages about this stuff but I'd rather not.

Yeah they probably won't be my hiking pants though. They have a fleece butt and knees so that makes them pretty warm for hiking. But they do have huge vents for coolin things down.

I think most pant have fleece Knees and but know.
I have oakley summer pant that are like 1,000 water proofing w/fleece knees and But.

^Yeah, when I was ordering from Burton the only pants that didn't have it were the AK series stuff and I don't really like the way it fits. But I've got my old Sessions pants for spring and summer riding at Hood. They are cheap and not very warm or waterproof which is fine for spring stuff.

Yeah, prodeal for those pants was around $100 when I was looking during the summer. I'd imagine its about the same now. They're a rediculously nice pair of pants, but even with the prodeal, its more than I wanted to spend on a pair of pants.

^ Yeah I got talked into it by our rep. He was like 'you got to get them, they are sick.' and I crumbled. I was only going to spend $80 orginally but I'm happy I spent the extra, they are sick.
