Women's road bike recommendations

looking for a good bike for the gf. She hasnt biked in awhile but wants to get back into it. Any recommendations for a relatively inexpensive bike, on the lighter side, without too many extra frills? Can be new, or recommendations for features to look for on used bikes.

Budget is a huge factor. Without that, recommendations are tricky. Right of the bat, the best bang for the buck I know of is a Blue Competition Cycles WRD1.1

Extremely underrated brand with mid range components for a fair price. I own the RD1.1 (men's frame) and have zero complaints. Super light, extremely stiff, and the carbon layup looks gorgeous.

What type does she want? Road, Mountain, Cruiser? What's the price limit?

road or cruiser or like a hybrid between the two. Around $400 max, and yes she's a girl, so preferably a bike that looks nice too :)

If you go with a road bike - at least make sure it has 105 components. Your best bet would be to pick up a used aluminum frame/carbon fork bike.

Since your budget is so limited:

If you want new: Tommaso Imola

If you want used: Maci Vincere Bellissima (closer to $600-700)

Those are just two quick suggestions. Search around - many great deals can be found if you search. Carbon fork would be clutch though if you can manage that.
