I mean thats kinda true, but this video makes the effects of lighting more profound through time lapse and colorized lights which is a cool concept for a video.

We studied things like this when I was in Photo. Like most of those "airbrushed" models in magazines actually arent plastered in makeup and edited to hell and back, they just have great photographers who know how to place there lighting to make them look better.
