Can somebody explain to me(a video would be super useful) how to attach the hotshoe to the mic after you remove the shock mount? The only place I can see it fitting doesnt have threads, so I'm confused.
Thanks!

I broke of one of the little clips near the front and then put the hotshoe right on that. moves it back and gets it out of the shot. I think if you remove the battery, there are little inserts that are threaded and you can rearrange them. I will try to get pics later if you need them

Yeah there's 2 threaded metal squares but I can't for the life of me figure out how I'd get them out, if you could let me know that'd be perfect, filing down the back nub might be a better idea yeah, don't think it does anything does it?

Thanks a lot man, I just cut away the little nub and it fits perfect, don't know why the shock mount is included, it's just annoying, make it optional.

sounds like you got it figured out, I must've used my knife or something. And I agree with the shock mount, when I first got it, all it was capable of doing was flop from side to side, which isn't very helpful on a glidecam

If you give me your email I'll send you a pic showing what I did, such a hassle taking a pic and connecting my iphone and uploading it.
