Has anyone seen the movie "4 Lions"?

It's a British black comedy from a few years ago in which clumsy terrorists attempt to bomb the London Marathon.

I hope whatever sick freaks are behind this are caught. RIP to the dead and vibes to the injured.

This makes me sound like a dick, I obviously think this shit is tragic I'm just saying its going to be more frequent. And to the guy who said a bomb went off in the hospital. thats so fucked i hope its just a rumor

scanner just had a guy say something about a bomb go off, and he wasnt just letting his grandma know. and as I type this, they are requesting EOD for a military style duffle bag left in the hospital?

That's what I've heard too. I grew up in Boston...scary as hell when stuff like this hits home. I have a friend at BU who's a runner/cyclist, the kind of kid who would wait at the finish line all day, was as terrified as I've ever been that he might have gotten hurt, he was only a block away from the explosions.

There will be dozens of "suspicious items" called in now, everyones on high alert. Doesnt mean they all are, there will be a lot of overreactions.


Also, from what I am hearing, library fire was unrelated, not to mention an atypical target for something like this.

It couldn't be two pipe bombs because the first one would've set off the second one immediately after. it was most likely some kind of plastic explosive with an electrical charge, But again there's no source on what happened yet.

& One thing I'm impressed by is the americans efficiency at broadcasting this, less than 10 minutes after it had happened I had heard about it.

But to your second point, if I remember correctly a few years back the Japan Tsunami thread grew pretty fucking fast. This was probably faster. Who knows.

Hopefully they will have the guy/people behind this apprehended soon. So fucked up.

but, witnesses said he stood there and did "stuff" 5 minutes before it happened..
When the explotion happened he seemed calm and wolked away without any fear..
