I know they're all the same. I know it was an American photographer who made the sign and gave it to all of them and took their pictures. I was the one who pointed that out in this thread.
Who cares if they didn't make the sign. They most likely can't even write Latin script. The girls certainly can't. But why would that mean they can't feel sorry? As it was later explained it was the American photographer who was initially supposed to hold up the sign but they volunteered to since they legitimately felt remorse for the deaths.
Because there are spelling mistakes the message is all of a sudden sudden real? god you're dumb.
Now where did you get it from that I said that what the US does is worse? Did I meet you and tell you my opinion on that? I don't remember meeting you. You must be awfully easy to forget.
And my accusation of bigotry are not at all unfounded. How about that Saudi dude who was racially profiled right away. Just because he was brown he got picked out and arrested. ONLY because he looked like a 'terrorist'. That is racial profiling right there. Bigotry. The same happened in this thread. If a picture was posted of Australians holding up that sign no one would question it. Just because they were from the Middle East it was thrown away as fake right away. That IS racial profiling. Pretty plain to see.
oh man. so ashamed of our Prime Minister in Canada. he's turning the Boston bombings into a political issue to try and attack the newly elected head of the Liberal party. such a disgrace.
Besides policy (which clearly is the most important issue) but the conservatives constant attack ads is what makes me hate them so fucking much. Based on ads I have no idea of their positive platform. Harper will take any comment, action, anything and try to turn it against the opposition in an attack. But this thread is not for rants against bullshit Canadian politics regardless of how disgusting his actions are regarding these bombings.
Wow, I hadn't heard about Harper's comments.. What a disgrace.
Though I agree, that there has to be someone more suitable to be head of the Liberal party. He's not impersonating his father, I think he probably is inspired though.
Don't let it stop you from voting Liberal though, it's the whole team you're voting for - not just the leader.
True but at least those were slightly relevant to the thread, compared to arguing about Justin Trudeau gaining recognition because of his fathers accomplishments.
Im just saying the discussion on Trudeau vs. Harper is very valid, but it should be talked about in its own thread. Harpers comments yes but their alignment in Canada no.
I kind of feel bad for all those people being featured in the photos. Chances are most if not all are innocent but now they will all have the government breathing down their necks and going through every shred of info that pertains to them.
not to mention that it's not as if the FBI and BPD are relying solely on an investigation launched by 4chan and reddit. They've got their own teams analyzing thousands and pictures, and hundreds of videos frame by frame. While I'm sure they don't mind the help, it's not as if these people have become immediate suspects just because reddit said so.
Yeah, that's just grand. Let's live in a country where people can blindly accuse you of something and it's up to YOU to clear your name... you're a fucktard.
I totally agree with you. I think its incredibly irresponsible how the media keeps showing pictures of "suspected suspects". They dont even know if its the people the feds are actually looking into, yet that poor guy is gonna get jumped on the street somewhere, guilty or not. I have no problem with the feds putting out a wanted picture, but thats once they have done their due diligence and have an actual suspect. This vigilante justice is ridiculous, the internet seems to have turned everyone into detectives.
Comment from Reddit user: " Oh my gosh.... I've seen both of these men. I work at a motel 6 in Massachusetts. I think saw them yesterday checking in. How do I give this information to the FBI?"
Yeah something like that. I tuned in somewhere in the middle of that call but from what I got out of it, they think they know the location of the suspects. Apparently there is a suspicious package under something to do with a fuel tank? It may be just a blanket in a bag but they are not sure. I'll keep you posted.
