Using bacon grease instead of wax.

What do you guys think? Put some in a jar, and put it in the fridge overnight, itll turn into a solid, and is still really slippery. I bet it would be dope on top of a coat of wax.

All the above mentioned ideas are good except for one fact. They'd all come off after a run or two. That's why you iron on wax. It gets into the pores and stays on your skis for a few days depending on conditions.

I know a few racers who have used Pam on their skis numerous times and it does make a noticable difference for a run or two. Also, soap works really well.

The one I've heard but would be hesitant to try is on a really wet day, use Rain-X on the base.

wax your skis with normal wax, and then put the pam on them. It comes off right away, but once its off, you got the wax.

i think u should just wax the rail rather than using various food products none of which would probably work better than or even as good as wax.....teh only good one was bacon fat and thats just cuz it gives u an excuse to make more bacon.....mmmmm
