So has anybody played bioshock infinte?

just beat the game and my brain self destructed. Definetly one of the best games ive played in awhile.

dude just get it, you won't be disappointed. have you played bioshock? that game is also worth playing. its not a sequel per say but they are thematically similar. Infinite is a game that basically questions itself, most games you just shoot and ill a bunch of people, in infinite you actually think to yourself WHY? its set in a flying city called colombia in the year 1912, run by basicallly mormons ahaha, racist fundamentalist christians. You are brought in to capture this girl elizabeth to erase debts thatyou have....but its much more. wouldnt want to spoil anything :). To me it just proves once again that video games CAN be art, most seem limited by the medium but the bioshock games shatter that conception.

she's 8/10. pretty good but could have been better.

the city looks amazing. I love how they recreated the early 1900's but with a more eerie feel as you go further into the game

There is no way it can beat the original Bioshock. That game was too good.

its id say on the same leel....different games with different themes, but theyre on the same level in my book. and bioshock is perhaps my favorite game.

this makes me want to get infinite. Bioshock was definitely my favorite game and now that ive met someone else who has played both and still said great things about infinite is making me second guess it.

get it! its also the same studio/ director as bioshock 1, not 2. although i did ike 2, it just had the unfortunate distinction of having to live up to 1....very different games tho

is it different from bioshock and bioshock 2? i loved both of those games but i just recently played through bioshock 2 and by the end i was kinda sick of the repetitive gameplay. i've heard infinite is quite different though

i'd already own it if i had $60 to spend

They are similar in all the right ways.

Bioshock Infinite is one of my top 5 favorite games of all time. On par with the original Bioshock.

I hear ya. I thought Bioshock was a fantastic game and wasn't sure that Infinite could compete. But as soon as I started playing I knew it was on the same level. It still has the feel of bioshock but added several awesome aspects with a fresh story.

Not feeling the sky-land. I really wish they would have kept the the underwater thing going, because Iloved the creepy feeling . Haven't played it yet though, so I'll have to see.

well the ending blew my mind. now the game title makes sense

i almost ripped my hair out on the command deck mission, but it was well worth the frustration of those fucking patriots to get to see the ending

Bioshock Infinite and the rest of the series are probably my favorite games of all time. The concepts and storylines behind both of them are unreal.
Rapture (Bioshock & Bioshock 2) is a city where religion and government are non-existing so technology becomes the primary focus.
Columbia (Bioshock Infinite) is a city in which religion reigns supreme.
Just crazy to see the differences between the two worlds
