My edge indented in my ski. My base has a small lump in it now, im not sure if it will make much of a difference while skiing. Is there anything I could do to fix this?
I had this happen on my blue steeles but the bump wasnt very big didnt really affect it i think theres a way to flatten it out again but im not positive
should be an easy fix for someone that knows what they are doing. best bet is to take it into a shop, where they will probably make an incision in the base and flatten the edge to the original position then fill the delam area with epoxy and clamp it down for atleast 24 hrs and make sure its flat. if there is any exposed areas from the incision, they would just fill it up with p-tex and base grind it flat again.only issue would be that there is a high chance the edge could crack.
