Need some tips on down rails and tubes. Once I get them, I can usually slide them fine, but it takes hours and a ton of falling before I can get them on lock, while I see other guys get them in just a few minutes. Anybody got any pointers?
If you get off early try to jump on it parallel to the rail not coming in sideways. Well that's what helps me. (I hope you understand, my English isn't the best)
Lately I have been hitting all rails from an urban angle, whether they are urban or not. Like, even if I can go straight on I still hit it from the side.
It's way better IMO. Look better, lets you lock onto the box or rail easier. Plus you can work on your "lipside" tricks even though there isn't really a lipside.
First of all, I think you mean lipsLide. And second of all, yes, there is a lipslide, it's a trick. However you can only really do a lipslide on a urban setup rail/box.
lipslipe just means your tails (or tips, if youre switch) go over the rail. the set up / height of the rail over the lip doesnt make a difference, other than that it looks cooler and is ballsier on an urban set up.
Its basically the same as any other rail, just a bit more slippery and and smoother. I prefer them actually, but just slide it like any other rail, and maybe lean forward just a touch more.
