Hello all, been awhile since I've posted in this section.
So basically, four seasons ago I decided to pick up these Full Tilt Booters (they're the 09/10 model I think?)
(These guys:)
I did get them fitted at SkiRack in Vermont, with a custom footbed as well.
And to be honest, I've been relatively unhappy with them since I've bought them.
Here are a few of my gripes:
-My feet almost always hurt the first half of the day.
-The buckles suck.
-They weren't good for any times I wanted to ski all mountain. (I am aware they are a park boot.)
So here lies my question-
Do I get new boots, or essentially pimp these out?
I've had to get three new buckles on them already and I will admit, it does make a difference. Perhaps I could buy three more new buckles? Perhaps I could buy a new liner as well? And maybe a new tongue that's better for all mountain?
Or should I go with a different boot altogether? The past four years I've tried to avoid doing that because boots are so expensive, but at this point, I'm ready for change if change is due.
I tried my brothers Krypton's earlier this year and hated them, maybe it's because I didn't have enough time to get used to them.
