Ok, look I don't think its the coolest looking sport either, but it would be the summertime equivalent. everyone seems to skate instead. Wouldn't inline skating in the summer help you work on your ski tricks?
And my friend made an astute observations, whenever Japanese people are at the mountain, they are always a group of snowboarders, yet over there, inline skating is huge. Its all backwards.
