Thinking of getting one, anyone use them? Seem pretty expensive for what they are, but I'm really starting to have my membrane keyboard. Do you think I could go to a bestbuy or a micro center or some place and try one out?

I don't own one and unfortunately I've never had the chance to use one for a duration of time, though some of my friends have them and it seems to be a hit or miss kinda thing. With that being said the response time and click you hear everytime you hit a key is great haha

Yeah haha I love that clicky sound. So awesome.
What about gaming mice? Do they actually make a difference?

oh ya, buy a decent mouse (dont get anything Razer, I recommend the Logitech g300) and it feels so much better playing, plus the extra mouse keys can be very handy. But seriously dont buy razor, theres a reason all the people they sponsor only use the DeathAdder, which is guess is a viable option, just a little out of my price range.

Depends what game you are playing. Last year I hopped on the Razer bandwagon. I use their Naga Epic mouse which has 17 buttons total. 12 thumb buttons that I have my action bars bound to. I also use their nostromo gaming pad. I have been thinking of getting a mechanical keyboard because there is less latency when compared to a membrane.

Fell in love with this one the first time I typed on it, dropped the $130 and have never regretted it. The noise and feel of the typing is unparalleled.

Has USB ports on the side. Performance-wise, response is apparently faster if you use the serial port connector rather than the USB adapter... can't say I've ever noticed the difference.

Only downside is there are no media keys-- if that's something you care about. The one with no markings looks bad ass to boot.

Would highly recommend.
