If you hold them at your side your elbows should be at 90 degrees or more

as trevor said, this is AMURICA and you can choose what you like. I am 5'9 and i rock a 42" pole but I've skied on 44" and 40" this past season as well

39 will be a bit short for a regular skiing pole, but fine for park where you only need them to push a bit.

There the line 11-12 rasta I can't really cut them down I don't think I can cut them idk of there cm or in but as Trevor said.. Screw it its I'm feet

The standard size recomendation is 90 degrees. If thats 39cm then dont go higher than 39cm or else push power will be loweres. For me, 90 degrees is 34. So i get a 32, as that feels comfortable

yes... you can cut any pole down, the pins are even easier because theres just set screws and possibly glue holding them on. take out the screws and put the grips in hot water, they will slide right off after a few minutes in the water. buy a pole longer than what you want because you can always cut it down, but you can never make it longer.

I'm 5'9" and use around 38" poles, its all preference though. its a free world, be thankful you dont have kim jong un telling you what size pole to get.

its whatever you find comfortable. i know kids with poles that are way too small for them and some with normal size poles

I'm 5'8" and I use 40's they're good for park but short for actually using them. If you want to actually have decent pole planting probably 44 or 46 would be good.

Just to add to it, I use the 40's most of the time when I know I'll ski park, but when I'm not in the park I use 44s

I've had 1 pair for like 3 seasons... My Oakley polarized lenses work well in any condition. Just take good care of goggles and they'll last

I would suggest not cutting them immediately when you get them, ski them first. I had a friend who cut out of the box and he and cut them too short.

thats the old way of measuring it. we do a little more than 90 now. so go the size down from the 90degree trick
