A friend of mine is in Thailand working at a wildlife refuge. She posted this yesterday, and I have no idea what the fuck it might be. If it isn't the coolest animal, then it's definitely the most disturbing

so i recently watched a video on an octopus escaping through a 2" by 4" hole on a boat but the crazy thing was that this octopus was literally half of me and im 5' 10"

There was this documentary on the Pacific Octopus' around BC and they had a tank they were keeping some in and one night they escaped for the tank, climbed down to the floor and actually crawled to another room, they couldn't last long but they adapted to land pretty damn quick.
