Now that the ski season is over for me, I am looking to get some new skis. I want to get some stiff poppy park skis. I would like a waist of around 90mm. I'm looking at chronics, iron maidens or any all park skis. Anyone got some suggestions?
I haven't really had any experience with any other park ski, but the chronics... Are spot on bro. I see people at my hill ridin, poppin on Traveling Circuses (Anthems) and they look like total noodles. Chronics are super snappy.
At the moment I'm riding the armada el reys. I'm looking for around the same stiffness. Anyone know anything about the ar7s? Would they be good for me.
No sir, Line recommends 4 cm back, they are not symmetrical and that's where they recommend due to the sidecut. You could probably do -2 or center though.
But the -4 recc has been pretty good, it carves great in groomers, floats nice on shallow pow, and smashes through crud, and still performs great in the park. Id also recommend -4.
The starsky would be a better option for op if he wanted to go with apo. Op is looking for a 90 waist ski. The sammy is very close to 90. Also im thinking op wants something more all mountiany but still rips park.
