So a month ago at attitash I got my poles stolen, they were yellow/ green line ones with the yellow tabs on the grip. So I bought new ones, exact same ones, and they were stolen again today. I know there's nothing that can be done, but if the thief is reading this, just know your a piece of shit.... If you feel like sending them to me, I'll pay shipping, I just want poles for the season remainder.
Well that's what you get for leaving such nice poles in front of me. They're tight although I had to saw a few inches off em. You're welcome for me teaching you a valuable lesson, you dumb ass.
I use my cable lock on my poles (which aren't even that good) more often then my skis. They are so easy to steal, and stuff like pointy sticks with grips attract thieves a lot.
If you are gonna spend 40 bucks on poles you should definitely not just leave them around.
I've had two individual poles stolen. I got both of them back luckily. One was ruined though since this punk snowboarder made it into a pole mount. I just followed him around the rest of the day and ruined all of the shots he was trying to get until I got it back.
Now I always take my poles into the lodge with me.
WE all know that everyone here steals poles , what goes around comes around... someone stole your poles? Then dont be that douche that goes n buys a bran new pair, jus steal em from some other sucker. Its the simple cycle of life. If your paying like 50 - 100 bucks on poles then you prob shouldnt leave em lyin around cuz people are like ok if i steal these skis then im a real skeezebag but if i snatch these poles .. life goes on
Anyways, people who are saying it's his fault-- nah not at all. We should be able to have nice skis and poles and be able to put them on the rack and not stress about it. Nuff said.
However, my friend told me if you're skiing on a hill close to a city, it's probably a better idea to lock your stuff. Definitely makes sense.
Your a douche. And a retard, everyone on here does not steal poles, and if I'm so pissed that someone stole mine, why should I be the same piece of shit and do it to someone else.
i know me too, then i can at least say they are both gone for good and i can move on. but then i go and get new poles and i feel like a dumb ass knowing that i still have one perfectly good one at home. however, this has happened twice now so i just use mismatched poles that have been trashed in the park
I bet that guy just hides the one pole he steals at some random place on the hill, or he might have all of them hidden at one spot on the hill, Or he steals one pole and waits until he finds another matching pole and steals that one, OR he just steals the one pole and keeps it for some dumb reason. But either way that guy is a butthole for doing that.
I got my poles stolen at crotched and the kid was retarded enough to ski around for the rest of the day with my poles (i knew they were mine because of one of them was bent as well as some other markings) so i called the kid out and made up some bs about how he thought they were has friend's or something. so after that i watched him go over to another set of poles and just take them. at the end of the day i watched him put his gear (including stolen poles) in his car then walk into the lodge. i walked over to his car and opened his trunk and grabbed the poles he stole and waited by the kids skis and gave him his poles back. watching him pull away without the poles was priceless
