How to ask teacher for a grade raise

my grades can use a little boost. a couple colleges that waitlisted me said they'll look at my 2nd semester midterm grades to make a decision. midterms will come out in about a week and there are not a lot of assignments left that can raise my grade. I worked my ass off this year, only went riding once, and got a decent average for 1st semester. 2nd semester I didn't slack off at all but I somehow screwed up and i'm getting a 75 in math and also 70s for chemistry, that's nowhere near where i want to be.
how should I go about asking this? should I go to each teacher or just talk to my counselor?

sparknotes worked hard in school but still got bad grades, how do I ask for a grade raise

If you truly did work hard, explain your situation and ask for extra credit. Not a grade raise. They will give you opportunities if you behave in class and are a good student and actually try etc.

I don't think that you're going to have much luck asking for your teachers to boost you from a C to a B and from a low C to a B (that's what I think you want to at least).

Your probably better off asking for a letter from one of your teachers indicating how much effort you've put into school lately. It would be helpful to have a teacher that has had you for a previous semester to write you a letter, then hopefully he/she would really understand the your improvement.

go talk to them, be a man about it not a little pussy and beg for one, explain your problem and why u need these grades, ask if there is any way that a bump in the grade would be possible, tell them everything how u skipped skiing, worked really hard but didnt see the results, just be urself, thats what i would do, or say u forgot to take ur meds and want a re take

i had a 79.4 in history (79.5 is a B, i had a C) and i asked my teacher if there was anything i can do do raise my grade and he still had to put more homeworks in so i got it anyway..

so

just say what i did i guess

that's what i was thinking. talk to them about the waitlist situation and ask if i can retake a test or do some extra credits

kidnap your teachers kids and tell your teacher that if they want to see them again they have to give you an A. it works everytime

Ill give you the best advice i guess so far, talk to your professor more than regularly and explain your situation. if its a woman proff, just say shes got a great outfit and she looks good . should work, just talk to them!

Let them know you want it and that you think it's worth working for. Ask if there is any ways you can boost your grade. Rewrite tests or extra assignments. Let them know you're willing to work for it and they'll be more likely to open doors for you. Got me through high school.
