i know there are a pretty big majority of you who rip on racing, but i'm wondering how to qualify for Skier-X... i think there have been a few races out west and in europe already, but i'm wonderin' if anyone knows the requirements or schedules of what goes down in the US... thanks.

Winter X-Games Qualifiers ñ January 14-16 The premier winter sports event returns to Sugar Bowl for an encore performance! The 2005 Winter X Games Qualifier will feature top athletes from around the world competing for the last remaining slots in Skiercross and Boardercross at the X Games finals. Competing at the X Games is the highest honor an extreme athlete can achieve; an event filled with pure talent and raw passion. Boardercross is a new sanctioned event for the 2006 Olympics, so this is an awesome chance to preview Olympic hopefuls. The Sugar Bowl event will be the only official open qualifying competition in the US. The ìX-racesî are races of speed. In both disciplines competitors race in heats of six on winding downhill courses specially groomed with s-curves, hits, tables and bunmps that add significant challenge for the athletes and excitement for spectators! Limited contact between racers is allowed. The top finishers from each heat advance until a winner is crownedÖor survives!!
