Replying to How involved are the hip flexors in skiing?
I've strained my hip flexor while running track, and my school's trainer says I should sit out from running and soccer for 4-7 days. My plan is to go skiing tomorrow, so my question is how much does skiing work the hip flexors? Is this a bad idea? The trainer called it a grade 1 strain. Feedback from anyone with good knowledge of exercise science/physical fitness is greatly appreciated.
