umm no, they'd only need installed security one day a year. i'd be in business all year around because everybody would want it installed in preparation for that one day.

My qualm is that many serious things like rape murder etc.. People don't do them not because it is illegal, but because they couldn't do it anyways. Most people morally capable of commiting rape ad murder and thee like aren't deterred by the fact that it's illegal.

Although there would probably be a decent amount of rapes and murders still.

I feel like they could make a waaaaay better movie based around the idea of the Purge.

Instead they set themselves up for a deep exploration of ethics and wasted it on making a regular horror movie.

I guarantee stealing from stores would be nearly impossible because not only would there be extra security but the store owner could shoot you down if he felt like it
