Replying to Dr. Dre gets punched at Vibe music awards!
Guess Suge Knight is back in full effect....
'The 2nd Annual VIBE music awards were marred by violence according to sources at Santa Monica Municipal Airport in Los Angeles, a fracas that resulted in a temporary stoppage of the event.
While the details are vague, Dr. Dre was slated to receive the Vibe Legend Award for his achievements and contributions to Hip-Hop over the course of his life.
At some point, in the evening, Suge Knight allegedly got on stage and said, “F**k the G-Unit. He supposedly hurled insults at others in the crowd in addition to 50 Cent’s crew.
Sources at the event told AllHipHop.com, “All hell broke loose tonight and a melee ensued involving Quincy Jones, Snoop, Dr. Dre, Suge Knight and G Unit. Someone sucker punched Dr. Dre while Snoop and Quincy were about to present him with a special award. All hell broke loose. Celebrities were running for cover.
Initial reports suggested that either Knight or a member of G-Unit was stabbed, but apparently neither is correct.
AllHipHop.com was unable to verify the validity of these accounts, but a representative called the matter a 'disruption' that didn't prevent the show from finishing.
The show was temporarily halted, but eventually resumed. More details will be unveiled as they are available.
The show is expected to be televised on Tuesday Nov. 16.'

'The second annual Vibe Awards, an evening meant to honor hip-hop and R&B, was disrupted by a melee Monday night (November 15).
Reports are sketchy, but according to eyewitnesses, as Snoop Dogg and Quincy Jones were getting ready to present Dr. Dre with the Vibe Legend Award, Dre was attacked near the stage. Witnesses said Dre was standing next to his wife when the man approached in a friendly manner, and then all of a sudden began throwing punches at the rapper/producer's head.
When bodyguards and people with the G-Unit jumped in to protect Dre, things quickly got out of control. While there were some reports that a man with the G-Unit's entourage was stabbed, a spokesperson for the group had no comment on the matter.
After the dust settled at least 10 minutes later, the show went on. Dre picked up his award and told the crowd he wouldn't let incidents like that one slow him down. Later, the audience at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California, was treated to a performance of 'Drop It Like It's Hot' by Snoop with Pharrell Williams. Jadakiss also performed and was joined by Anthony Hamilton and Common.'
