I've been doing research for a new laptop and i think i found one that meets my specifications.

I'm going to be using this for college, gaming a bit, and editing videos. This is also pretty close to the top of my budget.


Just tell me what you think if its a good laptop for the job.

I also want to say this will be my first go at creating videos and edits and im just super pumped to do it. If you have any advice for me starting out with my edits i will take that as well. (mostly be filming skating and biking, but also thinking about making a movie about my summer).

well its $1500...
And I wouldn't buy used. I'd get one of the acer ones for $900 with the quad i7 1080p screen and the 730m

i was planning on buying used hah, whats your reasoning? I up'd my budget a bit so i can probably go to around $900-$1000 so ill check those out. You're helping me a ton, thanks a lot man.

Idk I just would stay away from used especially with things like laptops. with $900 - 1000 you can definitely get a 1080p good gpu good quad i7 cpu and then hopefully upgrade to an SSD or something, maybe 16gb ram if needed.
Yeah if you get a $900 computer you can spend $100 and get a 128gb ssd to put in
