After about 15 years of typing on computers, I just realized today that the "delete" button functions as the opposite way of the "backspace" function.

Am I retarded for not knowing this? Is there anyone else that this is new news to?

delete, deletes the next letter, backspace goes back a space.

I had them from 1st-8th grade and a few in high school. I don't ever remember learning it.
