Anyone know of a good pair of headphones under $100? I've been looking at these JVC HA-RX700, which are only $30 and are supposed to be pretty good, but I'm wondering if anyone here on M/A knows of any better ones. Going to be used for gaming, editing and listening to music on my ipod. I'd prefer under $50 but I can get up to $100 if its worth the price.
i can't recommend any, but check out head-fi.org there are plenty of review of hundreds of headphones i am sure you would find one that suits you for a reasonable price.
First of all I tried those out at bestbuy and they sound like shit. Don't know why everyone seems to like them, probably just because so many other people liked them and wanted to be like them. Totally over priced as well. But second of all I'm buying actual headphones not earbuds... /stupid comment
Whatever happened to subtlety in audio gear, guess its a lost cause... I have 4 different listening setups and I can guarantee you those headphones are absolutely bang on for the price.
Also: lol at good headphones in the <$50 range, such a thing does not exist.
I snagged some audio technica ath-m45's for about $80 on sale at guitar center before christmas. For closed backed headphones and under $100, they're pretty solid. Also, I'm curious as to why all the downvotes?
