Switching bindings from ffg16 to sth16 steel

I currently have my new life's mounted with a pair of ffg 16's but I have a pair of brand new sth 16 steels sitting in a box in my room that I would rather have on them instead. Is the mounting pattern the same between the two bindings? And can I reuse the same holes to mount the sth instead of the ffg or will they rip out easily if I use the same holes twice? Thanks

They share the same hole pattern. You can remove the FFGs and thread in the 916s into the same holes, no problem. Just make sure to put a dab of glue in the holes(to lubricate the screws) and don't over-tighten the screws.

You should be able to use the same holes twice as long as they havent been damsged as for mounting patterns im going to GUESS that they are the same

don't use just any glue. make sure it's a wood glue, holds tight but loosens easy when you eventually take em off
