I feel like the skiing world is so awesome right now! From the Tanner Hall Invitational to SuperUnknown, skiing is off the hook. Tanner, thank you for putting on such an amazing competition to make me remember why love skiing so much! Candide, B-Devine, Sean Field, Rory Silva, Chris Turpin, Tommy Ellingson to Torin-Yater Wallace, Shoya Okazaki, Ahmet Dadali, and Sammy? So stoked to see so many different skiers from all different aspects of skiing come together to have a session that truly gives me back that feeling I used to get before everyone was SO DAMN GOOD! After an injury that took me out for pretty much all of last season I had almost lost sight of why I ski ...to the point that I had been skiing for the wrong reasons. Now, I remember. I'm not here to do triples or win the X-Games (not opposed to that happening) , i'm here to have a good time doing what I love. I fuggin' love skiing for that feeling I get when I watch my old ski movies. I love skiing for that feeling I get when I land a new trick that I've never done before. I love skiing for making me feel real good. I love skiing!
