I mean, 1080/60 is cool and all, but I think I could find an hmc40 for half price. Also if I'm just making web-edits I reeeeallly don't NEED 1080/60... just more data that it going to be lost in compression and not make a noticeable difference on vimeo/youtube.
Unless the processing/sensor shit is going to be miles ahead of the hmc40 then I'm ok...
With widespread 1080p support online and its common for the average user has a 1080 screen, shooting 1080p60 is ideal imo.
It's also not just shooting 720vs1080 it depends on how the camera performs. Ie the Canon dslrs have about 800 lines of res so 1080p doesn't look much better than 720 because it's upresing the 800 lines to 1000. But cameras like the gh3 or fs100 have 1000 lines of res so the 1080p looks significantly better than others @1080
