After putting off getting a new pair of boots for far too long, my current boots really did just fall apart. I have currently been trolling the internet for sweet deals on a mid-to light weight, mid to stiff flexing, touring boot with a tech fitting. Because I do not have any bootfitters anywhere remotely close, I am forced to mail order a few pairs and then Cinderella (me) will send back the rejects.
So right now I have a pair of BD quadrants '13 coming and I'm hoping to order a pair of Dynafit Mercury's as well. I found both of these for about $200 less than their MSRP. Any other screaming deals out there? I would like something around 3.5 lbs, definitely under 4 and with a flex of at least 110, preferably on a great sale.
I also found a pair of BD quadrants in my size from 2012 and I'm wondering if it would be worth it to get these instead of this year's since these are only $380. Any design changes this year? Good durability?
