Replying to Microphone suggestions

I am using a Canon t3i body and I wonder what shotgun mic would be the best for me! Of course to film some skiing, longboarding and a bit of everything I don't have an insane budget maybe around 150$ hehe... I heard about the Senheiser MKE400 that I could buy for 150$ of someone but I am not sure if it's worth it or if I just save a little more for example a Rode VideoMicPro.. If you could recommend something else, let me know. Thanks!
