how many gun murders do you really think are committed by "gun loving republicans?" care to tell me how many murders are committed each year with a legally obtained concealed carry? how about (what the media calls) assault rifles? how many of those rifles are legally obtained?
those gun loving republicans with their AR's and AK's account for less than 2% of total gun crime in the US. and thats not just "assault" rifles, thats rifles in general. now if we were to look further into it. how many of those deaths are with a legally obtained assault rifle? we are talking the smallest fractions of a perceived problem.
we have over 1.4 million gang members in over 30,000 gangs and rapidly growing. yeah no shit we arent the only country with gangs, but we clearly have a much bigger problem with gangs than all of Europe probably does as a whole. it accounts for 80% of our gun murder, yet people like you, who blindly follow the media and the uninformed general publics opinion, still think its rednecks shooting pop cans in their back yard in the middle of nebraska that are the problem... because like them you think with emotion rather than common sense. you think AR's look scary, and big magazines arent necessary so you dont like them regardless of what impact they have. you dont like republicans or rednecks so they must be the problem.
and lol at America being the shithole of the developed world, ive spent multiple years of my life living in different countries, if your talking about Chicago, parts of LA, etc.. then yeah those are some shitholes. but other than that a lot of this country makes the rest of the world look like shitholes.
so no, i dont think outsiders understand it better than I do, so far, all ive seen is outsiders having it completely fucking backwards.
and i use the metric system every day as well as the imperial, i wouldnt call metric better, it has its advantages and imperial has its advantages. sorry you guys are so butthurt that we arent just like you. but personally im fine with the imperial system, our gun culture, and im fine that we are not like the rest of the world, i like it better here.
