Knee bindings

Anyone had any experience with them? How does the lateral release work? Durability, etc. Trying not to tear any acls haha

NOT a freestyle binding.  They are super heavy and most of the weight is in the heel so they would throw you off quite a bit, and they don't seem to be all that durable.  although I've never used them, so maybe wait until someone more knowledgeable comes along, but I definitely wouldn't recommend them.  Pick up some fks's or another turn-table binding if you want to save your knees.

Everyone who has used then for freestyle has had major pre realease when landing get a spend your money on a real binding with some metal in it plus knee bindings are pretty expensive

The Knee bindings aren't really designed for the park market. The seem to be more designed for the recreational sector. However whilst it is completely possible to ski park on them, and there have been a few edits of guys throwing down on them, general feedback seems to be they don't work to great for park.

I had a pair for a year and i ski mostly park. The bad:The knee binding is defently not ment for park it releases ALOT when hitting larger jumps and doing taps. The good: they are a hell of a lot safer than. normal bindings and cheaper than acl surgery

Correct me if I am wrong on this, but arn't knee bindings the only binding that release laterally from the heal. The purpose of the turntable on fks,pivots,p12s are to allow smoother toe release since they all have something blocking the heal from releasing sideways.

I can't even consciously try to sell these in the shop I work at because they are so shitty. I would never ski on them.
