Hello, I'm going to put bindings on my Magic J's and need your advise about mounting. Should I put them on a true center or move them to a tip direction? I'm going to use them as main skis in the mountains for all snow conditions. I like middle jumps generally straight, sometimes 180 or 360. my weight about 190 lbs (88kg). Thanks for help!

I'd just mount at reccomended, this will be marked on the topsheet with a line, on the Magic J it's fairly easy to see and clearly marked. Reccomended on the Magic J is plenty far forward, so you should be fine there.

Guys, I really need your advise cause I have never had such skis (with rocker) before. I thought about putting bindings on a recommended mark, but the tips are to long, for my opinion (but I can be wrong). Those who have used this skis add few comments, please!

Tanner designed the Magic J as a freestyle backcountry with skiing and landing in powder switch. I'm sure reccomended will suit.

thx, if there is no other opinions, i'll do this way. white stripe on recommended place should be under the boot center mark, i suppose? :-D

Yep to get the ski mounted at reccomended, you want to line up the midsole of your boot with the reccomended mount point on the ski. Midsoles on boots are marked in a few different ways, but are usually pretty easy to identify. The majority of boot manufacturers use a line (like shown below), but Full Tilt use an arrow I believe.

i mounted mine 3 cms back from true center! and i truly love them. i wanted to go dead center but my shop tech yelled at me until i was advised otherwise. i believe im still 2cms ahead of the factory recomended. for trickery and jibbing i would not want to go reccomended, a little farther forward will make them more playful

If its not to late, you should mount at recommended. They ride great all over the mountain when they are mounted back just enough and still rides switch truly the best. Mounted mine with baron and had Norwalks as my all mountain ski but ended up using the Magic Js the most. They ripped powder to groomers to windblown snow.
