1: Shots from below the jump are tough because you don't get to see the jump. Why you see most jump shots from the side (or at least a little bit off of dead on from above or below) is because that is a good way to show the jump, what the rider is doing in the air, and the landing, context is key. I'd like to see the rider's face, too.
2: Tighter! way too much dead space. It can be REALLY hard with skiing, especially rails and especially in the park to avoid having the skier split the horizon, but it puts them on a much cleaner background if you can avoid that.
3: Best of the set. Could be tighter.
4: Needs more context. You have to try and strike the balance between shooting tight and giving context.
5: Tighter. The fence is distracting. horizon isn't straight.
