I was thinking of getting a pair of this years jmos but I'm not sure what size ski I should get or what bindings to put on them. I'm 17, 5'9" and weigh 170, ski mainly park when I'm at my home mountain but when I go to other places I usually ski all mountain with a little park thrown in.
I was thinking ski size to be 181 but I currently ski on a 174, the jmos also come in 176
Bindings I was thinking either marker squires or griffons, but what about jesters? Are they good for park? And what's the deal with schizo? Never really understood what they're for.
+k for help
Get 181's because you primarily ski all-mountain and get Jesters without the Schizo's. I personally recommend Salomon STH's, but I almost never hear anything bad about the Look Pivots or Rossignol FKS.
Get the 181 you will apreciate the length as far as bindings go fks or pivot are my personal favorite but if your set on a marker binding get the jester it is the more durable of the marker bindings
I have this years Jmo's in 186. I think you should be fine with the 181 esp. considering all the rocker in the tip and tail. I have mine mounted with pivot 18's true center. These are skis are fucking awesome.
