Hey pplz, here's my situation I'm a fairly new park skier just started this year so I got some 2011 line afterbangs and some cheaper marker bindings (thay are pretty heavy), so i learned to just grind some rails (straight and down) and 360 and a couple of grabs on just smaller jumps so I think I would consider myself to be an intermediate skier now and looking to increase my bag of tricks. But I would like to get some new skis with a lighter swing weight because when I was learning 3's I felt like the swing weight was pretty heavy (maybe im just not used to it) I also want a fairly soft ski for learning butters (which the afterbangs were awsome for) but I don't know what I should try. (Im cool with getting a whole new set up just got a part time job :D ) and I heard there are also good deals on skis at this time of year so PLEASE HELP! 15yrs 5' 9" 170pds (I know I am a bigger guy LOL) If you need any more info on my riding just ask, any suggestions helps! THANKS!
just be a gypsy and buy any park ski thats cheap just dont buy some really shitty off brand park ski but there arent that many so you cant really go wrong. and dont buy some snappy stiff 100 ft booter double flip ski like stepups either. and that swing weight will feel weird no matter what but you will get used to it
Atomic Punx or K2 domain. I have the domains and they are super buttery. I think the Punx are a little less buttery, if that matters. As for size I'd go 179. If you get the Domains, go a little bigger size than what you think you want because you just don't feel them at all IMO
