Yeah but then I couldn't put my old shoes through the plate roller when I'm all done with them and squish them down to like 1/8" thick.

It's literally the only reason I work here.

Yeah I really don't know what would ever possess you to do that to a running lathe. It's scary enough when it's fucking stationary.
