So I'm making my own stabilizer, and don't want to spend over $60 to buy one. I'll be using it for skiing and longboarding, as well as an occasional walking video. I could make the merlin style cheaper, and it's easier, but from what I've read the glidecam will produce better results for my purposes. Thoughts?
