Yeah, I've noticed recently that a lot of kids don't seem to understand that there is in fact a difference between the 3, and that you don't have to flex your tip/tail beforehand, you just have to spin before the lip for it to be considered a butter. Unless you are specifically claiming nose/tail butter.
Does the cliche 15 second clip of someone dragging their skis by their side while hiking back uphill annoy anyone else to the point where you want to use a bag of kittens as a pinata?
im not trying to rabble rouse but to me a butter is when you flex your nose/tail, what most kids do is just a revert. if i am spinning in circles going down the hill flat footed those are not butters. That was the entire concept behind lines "butter zone" in the invader and anthems to make it easier to flex your nose/tails. I think that those reverts are a sloppy way of learning how to butter for people who do not have the leg strength to actually butter... as line's wiki page says "buttering is the act of of spinning around on ones tips or tails". im not going to touch my skis with my fingertips and call it a grab, that is just me though..
That's easy, look in my profile or for a better idea of my skiing, ask ANYONE WHO KNOWS ME. I'm not some camera whore so you kids can jerk it to me completely slaying everything in the park.
