my favourite workout is not working out at all. I only did track and xc cause I was good at it.
my shit was steeplechase. I can't do it this year cause I tore a bunch of shit in my knee skiing.
but if I had to pick I would say ladders were my favourite hard workout. 200-400-600-800 and back down with 30-60second rests. just cause they're the easiest workout that still helps a lot.
Dude all out 4s are perfect for building up speed emdurance, the last 100 hypertrophied your srinting muscles. I got you beat 15 and up btw. So i know what im talking aboot
My favorite workout was distance runs, but instead of running we would hit eachother with sticks, stare at girls asses, and splash around in streams. Man good times
killer 5's were my favorite. run the 400, go balls out for an additional 100 and then rest for no more than 5 min then do it again. hell while you're doing it but nothing beats the feeling afterwards
Im a pure sprinter. Literally. Anything over 100 meters I hate. So that being said my favorite work outs are the 100m and 50m repeats and quad workouts (bleachers, hills, etc.) Buuut... i strained my quad, strained it again after like a week, so now im taking it easy for like two weeks until its better :( had to run with distance one day and it was absolute hell.
my favorite workout are hurdle days (i hurdle one day then run with the sprinters the next and so on) because we don't have a coach and we just dick around and its me and 3 of my best friends who run hurdles so all in all good times
when you say you have a favorite workout it implies you actually like interval days, which noone does. but if i had to pick a favorite one it would be 200s or 400s because there so short
