What should I learn on guitar this weekend?

I have my girlfriend's acoustic while she is away for the weekend (by mentioning my successful coupling with a member of the opposite sex, i hope that the members of this community will view me with higher esteem and thus provide better advice pertaining to my quandary, that of which i am about to begin describing upon the closing of this set of parentheses), and I want to learn some new songs.
Recently I have enjoyed playing:

Say it ain't so by Weezer
Such Great Heights by Iron and Wine
Brother by Murder by Death
Angeles by Eliott Smith
3rd Planet by Modest Mouse


Things of this nature. Something with a bit of fingerpicking and a cool rhythm would be great.

While my guitar gently weeps by George Harrison is guaranteed to get your knob slobbed by your girl.

If you don't want to learn that go with Angeles by Elliott smith but I would go with George Harrison/The Beatles.

Jack-a-Roe by grateful dead is also a great folky fingerpicking song that meshes with your enjoyment of iron and wine, Elliot smith and weezer.

If you are somewhat good at finger picking, learn I will Follow You Into the Dark by Death Cab. It's real easy (Capo 5th and uses G Am C and F), and she will do things to you after you play it for her.

props for srv, but OP definitely isn't going to want to learn that on acoustic. now if you have an electric as well and you think you can shred like srv then i reccommend learning some of his songs cause they are way too much fun to play

for fingerpicking , learn Pistol Dreams by Tallest man on Earth. that was the first tallest man song I managed to play, its in an open tuning but not as hard as it sounds.

Check out Life by the Drop by SRV. Its one of his few acoustic songs and is just brilliant. Talks about overcoming his severe alcoholism and is just a damn good song. The feels in it are just out of this world.

my dad has always played him since i was a kid so i grew up on his music man i love that song! i have a soft spot for acoustic so it's probably up there on one of my favorites. i'd say he's one of the reasons i actually play guitar today

i guess keith does what he wants... but i would never leave my guitar with just 5 strings on it because im pretty sure that would let the neck warp over time since the tension is no longer balanced.

So its another weekend and more guitar to be played. I learned I'll Fight by Wilco and Feb 7th by The Avett Bros last week. Any other suggestions?

I'm working on my rhythmic fingerpicking/strumming. i kinda suck at it at the moment.
