Replying to Your take on POV edits..?

I don't have a lot of people to film with, but I do have a GoPro. I've made mainly POV edits, like so:

But what's your opinion? I have a DSLR that I've been putting some more time on, but it doesn't do much help when you're headed to the mountain solo.

Do people mind POV edits? Or are they just overdone? Andrew Whiteford got his big break from POVs, but that's because they're awesome.

Should I just focus on GoPro? DSLR? or mix?
