Faction Candide 1.0 vs Armada AR7's

So both of the skis are listed 50% off at my local shop, i enjoy park but slaying moguls and groomers are also a big part of my skiing. I am leaning towards the 1.0's because they are handmade in switzerland and are not as common whereas armada are factory made and are see all over the place. I am also going to use rossi axial2 in neon yellow and i think that would look so dope on the candides. Opinions/advice?

ar7's tear up groomers, and are awesome in the park too. A little of glades also. Not too deep of pow.

i feel like the candides would be a lot of fun too. I really want to talk with someone who has them.

Haven't ridden those Candide's, but I can vouch for the absolute quality of Faction skis in general. The ski & build quality are miles above anything else ive been on, armada included, hence the high cost of them.

you could narrow your search since the 1.0 is just the kennedy without the recycled materials

I love these skis!
Very very light, less than 3000 gr for pair (my size 173cm)!
The lightest skis that I had in my life. Flex is above average, these are not soft butterly fan skis. These skis great for mid and big air.

I luckily won a pair of the candide 1.0 in a comp last week. After spending a week on them i am in love! They're so poppy and playful, yet remain rigid in turns and are great for carving. Cannot recommend these highly enough!

I had AR7s for 2 seasons they were amazing but the edge just wore away eventually over time. I would have bought another pair had my friend not been selling some factions 1.0 he won in a comp. I used them for 15 days before I snapped one of the candides landing backseat on a rodeo on a medium jump.
Until they snapped, the factions were the best ski I've ever skied. So light, easy to spin and mad edge hold on groomers.
But 15 days then snap VS 2 seasons and edge wearing away over time???? AR7 for me until faction sort out their issues.
All times are Eastern (-5)
