I love thinking about things like this, wonder what you guys think:

What would the inside of an empty ball with mirrored sides look like?

What happens to our souls after we die?

Are we just a chemical make-up?

When did time start, and what was before it?

most animals don't actively think but rely on instinctual actions to the given stimuli, eg: every single insect. animals that do think don't think in any human language.

4) We're not sure when time started because as far as we understand there was a singularity at the birth of the universe that our physical models cannot account for. Whether there was anything before that singularity we currently cannot know...and, for that matter, we won't know what will happen after the Big Crunch (the opposite singularity of the Big Bang).

Then where does my sense of individuality come from? Why am I me and not someone else? If whatever I'm made up of came together again after I die, would I hypothetically exist as myself again?

the mirrored ball would just be a mix of colors... but in reality those colors would be whatever is at the EXACT center of the sphere magnified and reflected a billion times.

yes we are a chemical makeup but i'd like to believe in the concept of having a soul....

And supposedly...yes, I'd say. But I think there's so much complexity to the human brain and so many possible outcomes during brain development that its incredibly unlikely that anyone would end up as you. Remember, to end up as you they'd have to have identical physical traits as well because those affect your thinking and development.
