This thread, is one where you post tricks that are dying out. Tricks NSers used to do, but are now most/ alot of them cant/dont. So i will start it off by saying: bio's, and octograbs.

Switch 10s with no cork. Switch ups in the same direction one-after-another aren't quite as common, more B&E style jibbing and pretzel-ing seems to be going on now.

Stylish single or dubs, there are alot of skiers that are doing stylish dubs or singles, but too many of them are hucking stuff. I really hope a quad does NOT happen.

loled, maybe 3 or 4 skiers are consistently "hucking" triples. The hundreds of other pros all do amazing signles and doubles. Also you're a pussy if you don't want quads

I wouldn't really say truck drivers were ever extremely common but it's something I have never seen done in person, and not too often in edits.

back in like 07-08 I think truck drivers were all the rage.

Basically it was awesome.


There were even heated debates on here about how high up your grab had to be in order to enter the realm of the truck driver.


Mutes seem too simple to be common anymore. I still think it's one of the best looking grabs ever, but it's one of the first that most people learn, so it's disappeared from movies/edits.

I really miss truckdrivers.. Back in the day people used to throw them down on cork 7s and sw 7s all day long. And dumount cork 5 truckers first hit of his Xgames Halfpipe runs where sooo badass!
