Replying to Relocating to Washington - Seattle/Bellingham

So, I'm leaving Colorado and will be up in Teton Valley area in Idaho visiting friends for a little bit but will be relocating to Washington. This move will probably be rather permanent. So...

I figured I'd ask NS about Seattle and Bellingham as places to live, what to expect for prices, good neighborhoods/areas to live in, work opportunities, and any other tips and hints. If you guys/girls know of any other towns/cities out there that are pretty cool let me know.

I'll probably be headed up there around mid to late April to check the area out, so if any of you out there wouldn't mind hosting me for a few nights that'd be really great.

I'm 25, I can cook, I'll do your dishes, walk your dog, bake you bread, and be really nice house guest.
