Need help with stretched ear

for those of you with stretched ears, i have a 10g in my right ear (6g in left) and have been at that size for over a year, i waited 2 months after getting pierced at a 10g with hoops to size to 8g plugs, the left one has been fine and had no trouble with it, but the right one is swollen, slightly deformed (probably due to swelling), red, and if i take the plug out the hole will swell completely shut in under 10 minutes, i have since sized down to 10g and that did nothing, every piercer I've talked to has no idea what is wrong with it because I've had it for so long, any suggestions on how i can get this stupid thing to stop being fucked up without taking it out

Then you either have shitty guages which are making your ear reject, or your ear just simply does not want to be stretched.

If its rejecting that bad now, I'd take it out. It's not uncommon for your body to reject certain piercings, even if it is just one side

thats what I've heard, i just can't figure out why its rejecting it so much when i had no problems initially with the same grade of metal

Bodies are weird. When I was a kid I could where whatever earrings I wanted, and leave them in for ages. Now I can't keep sterling silver, or anything with nickel in it, for even half an our without discomfort and inflammation. Likely because that once the ear got irritated, it has since increased its sensitivity. As such it is now more sensitive than both the other ear, and how sensitive it was before irritation.
At this point it's probably time to give up before you provide permanent damage.

Every time I see somebody with massive holes in their earlobes I have a nearly uncontrollable urge to put a large, heavy padlock through one of them and throw away the key. It's a good thing that I don't carry padlocks around with me on a regular basis.

you should do it. it only takes bolt cutters to get off, not like it would be a big deal. well worth the laugh though.
combo lock would be good too. just "mess up" a few attempts at taking it off
