Just thought I'd share this with NS... someone in the skiing community might as well win this. All you have to do is like Cinema Epic on facebook and once they reach 100,000 likes they are going to randomly choose a winner. They're giving away a Sony FS700 and a Tilta FS700 Rig to the winner.

Saw someone share this earlier, I don't even bother with this shit, the chances of me winning are so slim it's not even worth the effort of clicking share, let alone annoying my fb friends.

Also, once they reach 100k likes? what the fuck, they're on 60k...

Obviously it doesn't hurt, but think of the chances, it's currently at 1 in 16k, it'll go up to what, 25k easily? maybe 50? I just don't bother with that shit, sure it's an impressive price per share ratio, what's the cost of the fs700, 10k? and the rig? that's at least 20c a share. Don't see many companies doing that. So to sum up, I've contradicted myself, but still won't share lol.

It's not so much the effort, I'm not that lazy haha, it's just I hate sharing shit nobodies interested in(I'm not really friends with many filmers on FB, idk why I even care what they think but idk).

Yeah. The annoyance of sharing is valid and I agree. I have had a Facebook account for 7 years and can count the amount of shit I have shared on one hand and either unfriend or block the people that always share useless stuff. The part that I thought was lacking intelligence is his bickering about the effort. Think of how much time, clicking, and typing he did to deliver his input to this thread about how much effort it will take to like and share for the chance to win. Only about 5% of that effort would be needed to do the actual thing he was saying was too much effort.

I don't think liking a page is necessarily going to share it to your friends. Won't you just start seeing that page's posts? You can always unlike it after the page. But hey if you don't like take advantage of an opportunity to win free shit that's your choice.

most pages like this just use the competition to gain likes, then take the page off and sell it to someone who wants a 100k advertising reach. no surprises the cinema epic page disappeared
