So I've owned a million pairs of skullcandy earbuds and they are great for 20 minutes until they break. I almost always wear a helmet so I prefer in ear headphones to over ear ones... Any suggestions for some durable and relatively cheap headphones with decent sound quality?
You can still wear icons with a helmet, I have seen people wear their helmet over them. But also you can have the head thing down around the back of your neck with the ear parts coming up into your ear area of your helmet.
. Wear them under a balaclava and they stay perfectly in your ear. They also have terrible noise canceling so you can actually hear whats going on around you
Ipod earbuds are the most uncomfortable things ever. I use earbuds too, so no risk of breaking them, but I use Panasonics. There are a bunch of different versions but you essentially just want any ergofit one. Super comfortable, cost next to nothing. I wouldn't want to use my Klipschs on the hill.
What i do, is i get a pair of KOSS PortaPro's and take out the speaker and put it between my bandana/necktube, my beanie and my goggles. So much more comfortable than having a pair of earbuds squished into your ear. Awesome bass too. Not too expensive ;)
I use the skullcandy fix buds, but only because i got them for free off warranty. Honestly the durability seems better than any other skullcandy bud, but you can get similar ones for half the price on amazon.
